It is now possible to attach password protected PDF files.

In the Attach Raster Reference dialog, if the preview is on, a dialog displays requesting a password in order to show the preview. Selecting Cancel in the dialog will leave the preview empty. Each association file and password should be kept while Raster Manager is loaded.

In the Raster Attachment Options dialog, attachments that are password protected display in red and have a special padlock icon to their left. For these locked files, "Enter Password…" becomes available in the right-click menu. This option is available only if at least one locked raster is selected. If a password is required for a selected file, the Raster Attachment Options dialog will be open even if the Open Settings Dialog check box is not selected in the Attach Raster Reference dialog.

Until a valid password is entered, the attachment will not be visible. If you click the Attach button without entering a valid password, these files will not be attached. If a valid password is entered:

• The file name no longer displays in red.
• The padlock icon is removed.
• The attachment(s) are now visible.

Multiple selections are allowed if many PDF files have the same password. If mixed PDF and XWMS files are selected, one password dialog will open for each format.

In the Raster Manager dialog, the Security field indicates if a file is password protected. Attachments with this column checked are password protected and will not display. They will have the same behavior as attachments with the "File not found" status. Clicking the column opens a dialog to enter the password for the selected file(s). Multiple selections are supported for entering the password.
